SmartRunner consists of two components: a mobile application and a website. GPS (global positioning system) makes it possible to record an athlete’s motion during training. The only thing needed is a phone with SmartRunner software installed. Already during training information such as speed, calorie consumption, traveled distance and time required become available. Back home after running data can be analyzed and evaluated on the computer or experiences can be discussed through the SmartRunner-community website.
